You don't have to act like a man to succeed in business, for you will always be judged as a woman. But you can't get ahead unless you understand the male business culture.

Women in Leadership: Lessons From the Frontline
If you want to be promoted you need to know how to promote yourself. Success does not rest on talent alone. You also need to understand the corporate arena to achieve your goals. There are written and unwritten rules in the workplace. The sooner you learn what these rules are and how to use them, the sooner you will get what you want. Women make up over half of the workforce, however, men are promoted faster and hold higher-ranking positions. Many women are frustrated by what they see as a lack of opportunity.
The fact is men and women often have different approaches to a broad range of workplace issues. How we deal with competition, conflict, corporate politics, team building and just being heard are some of the ways women unknowingly behave that can undermine their credibility.
Jonamay Lambert and her team of coaches knows how to help women learn the rules to achieve their goals, improve performance, increase their impact on the organization and find success on their own terms.
We will help you understand your personal style and how to flex your style to specific situations. You will also learn how men and women are similar and different at work. Let us help you achieve what you want. You will be more confident, gain insight into gender-based behavior, understand the rules of success, learn to communicate in ways that make others want to listen. You will learn how to ask for what you want, promote what you've done, network, gain personal power and know when and how to use it.
Women in Leadership can be offered in workshop format or via TeleCoaching. Contact us for more information.
StepOut
StepOut is our mentoring program for women and is focused on personal growth and development – not just promotions and perks. It’s about learning from mentors who may be more different than like you. It’s not just about having one mentor, but learning how to develop relationships with mentors.
StepOut is a unique approach to mentoring. Mentors and mentees attend quarterly lunch TeleCoaching sessions that feature a speaker focused on a specific developmental topic. Presentations will further the knowledge and skills of both mentor and mentee.
Topics include:
- Asking Powerful Questions
- Understanding Differences
- Giving and Receiving Feedback
- Knowing Your Personal Style
Mentors and mentees will complete the Personal Elements Profile (PEP™) as part of the session on Knowing Your Personal Style. Follow up meetings between mentors and mentees will focus on specific challenges and opportunities. We offer consultation on pairing mentors and mentees. You will receive tools, training and the structure needed for a successful mentoring experience plus we add a bit of informality that allows for social networking.
